Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Vaugon's Ahmid Jeanblanc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ernest Saury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucien Le Hir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-Antoine Frances having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Gustave Revault had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc-Antoine Frances. Vaugon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustave Revault was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marc-Antoine Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Revault in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ahmid Jeanblanc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amaury Skrzypczak, 1-1. In the 24th minute, Gustave Revault ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc-Antoine Frances was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ahmid Jeanblanc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmid Jeanblanc in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amaury Skrzypczak saved Avoriaz FC from getting behind. If Gustave Revault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaugon's goalkeeper Marc-Antoine Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Antonin Murcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Gustave Revault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-Antoine Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucien Le Hir came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Avoriaz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucien Le Hir couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustave Revault was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vaugon's zone, Lucien Le Hir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Antoine Frances came out of the goal and Lucien Le Hir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avoriaz FC's Amaury Skrzypczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmid Jeanblanc in the 59th minute of play. Marc-Antoine Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Revault, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Avoriaz FC's Paulo Lhôte managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nolan Kowalski in the 70 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Gustave Revault took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marc-Antoine Frances to make any attempt to save it. Avoriaz FC's Gustave Revault got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Vaugon got a freekick which was hit by Stanislas Artus. Antoine Basset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marc-Antoine Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avoriaz FC played a much better game than Vaugon and deserved their victory. The Vaugon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
