After 22 played minutes Rafal.FC got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Loup Rolle. Lilian Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Buard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Lucho getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Noël Coulibaly hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Buard in the 30th minute of play forced Lucho's goalkeeper Lilian Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Courbon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jean-Pierre Picou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hamid Savoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Courbon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michaël Chapot in the 39th minute of play forced Rafal.FC's goalkeeper Hamid Savoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jean-Pierre Picou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Michaël Chapot made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Pierre-Loup Rolle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucho's Lilian Maurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Faustin Riquet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lucho and the Rafal.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, Lucho's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Buard came free, but Lilian Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Roman Buard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucho's Lilian Maurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Buard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Roger Prades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Roman Buard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafal.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Buard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lilian Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Buard took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lilian Maurin. Lilian Maurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 87 minutes into the match, Jean-Pierre Picou notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rafal.FC's Hamid Savoie. Hamid Savoie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sammy Jammes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lilian Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Rafal.FC's Pierre-Loup Rolle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilian Maurin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
