Jean-Pierre Ribot struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hubert Dabadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROUBAIX SC. 18 minutes into the game, Édouard Bourin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hubert Dabadie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubert Dabadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Drieux in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Queuleu defense, Cristiano Ronaldinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Dabadie. The Queuleu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Dabadie should have stopped the shot. ROUBAIX SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Philibert Delanoë scored to the left of an out of position Borek Opletal, making the score, 1-3. Queuleu's Hubert Dabadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Édouard Bourin in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Cristiano Ronaldinho sped through Queuleu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hubert Dabadie. After some careless play in the Queuleu defense, Maximo Manilan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Dabadie. The Queuleu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Dabadie should have stopped the shot. ROUBAIX SC's Édouard Bourin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Queuleu defense, Jean-Pierre Ribot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Dabadie. The Queuleu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Dabadie should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Queuleu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Hell to maneuver through the defense. Adam Drieux hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Queuleu getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bilal Rabaud hit a great ball. Baptiste Champeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Baptiste Champeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Dabadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Queuleu's Hubert Dabadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 68th minute of play. Édouard Bourin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, ROUBAIX SC's Édouard Bourin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hubert Dabadie. Hubert Dabadie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. Cristiano Ronaldinhos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Hubert Dabadie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Grenier got free with Hubert Dabadie in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes Queuleu got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Hell. Alonso Gento hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Maximo Manilan might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Dabadie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Manilan ran back to his position shaking his head. Queuleu's Hubert Dabadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Édouard Bourin in the 87th minute of play. Borek Opletal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Deyres, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Julien Lebois took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Borek Opletal. ROUBAIX SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was beautiful to see ROUBAIX SC's Farid Giudicelli in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the match was over ROUBAIX SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Queuleu throughout the match.
