In the 17th minute, Morpiènas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cesar Dewez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marc Moysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Madelaine in the 20th minute of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Cesar Dewez from a close distance when the talented Martin Bernigaud managed to make a qualified save. Morpiènas's players were relieved. Morpiènas's Martin Bernigaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Dewez in the 27th minute of play. Gregory Mimouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bernigaud having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Morpiènas's zone, Cesar Dewez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Bernigaud came out of the goal and Cesar Dewez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morpiènas's Martin Bernigaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Morpiènas from getting a goal against them. Cesar Dewez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Martin Bernigaud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of ASSE booed when Morpiènas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Groult didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Dewez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Martin Bernigaud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Dewez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Dewez in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Bernigaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Philippe Foray made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Augustin Groult immediately put the ball in play. Félicien Joulie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marc Moysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bernigaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Dewez in the 59th minute of play. ASSE's Omer Reix quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jean-Philippe Foray, made in the 60th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Cesar Dewez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Morpiènas's Martin Bernigaud. Martin Bernigaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesar Dewez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyrille Davoust kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Dewez in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. There was no doubt that ASSE were the better team. ASSE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
