Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernand Jolibois started the match with the kick off. Ernest Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samy Laviolette did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Youri Rémond 10 minutes into the match. Tom Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blettange's Tom Ramos got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Frescaty's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Sousa came free, but Youri Rémond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Frescaty's goalkeeper Youri Rémond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfried Saint-Germain. A hard shot 19 in the game by Wilfried Saint-Germain from a close distance when the talented Youri Rémond managed to make a qualified save. Frescaty's players were relieved. In the 21st minute of the match, Wilfried Saint-Germain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Youri Rémond was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Malezieux in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Youri Rémond saved Frescaty from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Wilfried Saint-Germain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Youri Rémond. Wilfried Saint-Germain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Blettange's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bodin came free, but Baptiste Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Arnaud Vuillemin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baptiste Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilfried Saint-Germain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Blettange got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Vieu. Jack Ébel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baptiste Bartoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernand Jolibois went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wilfried Saint-Germain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Youri Rémond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfried Saint-Germain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Mohamed Bodin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frescaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blettange the free kick. Mohamed Bodin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Wilfried Saint-Germain took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Youri Rémond. Youri Rémond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Frescaty's Mounir Bremaud slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baptiste Bartoli. That made the score 3-2 after 67 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernand Jolibois in the 70th minute of play forced Blettange's goalkeeper Baptiste Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Wilfried Saint-Germain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blettange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After having played for 77 minutes, Wilfried Saint-Germain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blettange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfried Saint-Germain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Frescaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mounir Bremaud to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Samy Laviolette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blettange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samy Laviolette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Wilfried Saint-Germain came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Blettange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Saint-Germain couldn't finish the play. Ernest Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Saint-Germain in the 88th minute of play forced Frescaty's goalkeeper Youri Rémond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samy Laviolette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youri Rémond having to interfere. Youri Rémond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Saint-Germain, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blettange fully deserved thier win.
