Ramzi Schwartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Sola, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Beuve came free, but Pierre-Henri Feger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mulocherie's Roger Dutrieux in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Herbert Lafargue charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Lafargue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herbert Lafargue hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées got a corner. Mulocherie's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julien Vacher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Dutrieux in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre-Henri Feger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Dutrieux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bastien Hérin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ramzi Schwartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées. Valentin Sola took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramzi Schwartz. Ramzi Schwartz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Roger Dutrieux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre-Henri Feger was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Bastien Hérin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ramzi Schwartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Sola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées's zone, Roger Dutrieux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre-Henri Feger came out of the goal and Roger Dutrieux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées's Alain Tassy got a free kick in the 87th minute. Roger Dutrieux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Henri Feger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Roger Dutrieux rounded Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
