With a little luck, Morangis's Ruben Gaudel got control of the ball when Thibault Barreau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Gaudel was a little too slow when Isaac Rigaux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. If Guillaume Baudoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Gaudel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thibault Barreau's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Thibault Barreau in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Gaudel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Thibault Barreau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Gaudel. Morangis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thibault Barreau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josselin Pétillon got free with Ruben Gaudel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ben Gatti fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morangis's protests and gave Ben Gatti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Morangis's Ben Gatti got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Morangis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Agnel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Louvain's Alirio Cabanela got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Toufik Goulet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Félicien Garrido. Louvain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toufik Goulet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The Morangis fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Morangis's Toufik Goulet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morangis's goalkeeper Ruben Gaudel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thibaut Levacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Gaudel having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillaume Baudoin to make the kick off. Félicien Garrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Baudoin in the 61st minute of the match. Ruben Gaudel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Louvain's Thibault Barreau. But to his dismay, Thibault Barreau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thibault Barreau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Gaudel having to make a save. In the 68th minute Thibault Barreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Gaudel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibault Barreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Gaudel having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Louvain's Alirio Cabanela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Gaudel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Louvain's Thibaut Levacher got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Thibaut Levacher notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Morangis's Ruben Gaudel. Ruben Gaudel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guillaume Baudoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Félicien Garrido having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Thibault Barreau notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Morangis's Ruben Gaudel. Ruben Gaudel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Gaudel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibault Barreau in the 88th minute of play. Isaac Rigaux's late challenge caught a Morangis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Rigaux helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Rigaux hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thibault Barreau in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Gaudel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Louvain's Thibault Barreau in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morangis's goalie prevented a goal. Louvain's Thibaut Levacher got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Louvain players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
