An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Schott in the 10th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Ilan Therond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Codron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Allan Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Youri Schott reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilan Therond. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Magnificient Solomon FC booed when Paris Saint-Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Saumon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Philibert Rethore got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint-Germain's zone, Youri Schott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilan Therond came out of the goal and Youri Schott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyril Bourguignon struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ilan Therond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magnificient Solomon FC. After 39 minutes, Robert Saumon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paris Saint-Germain and the Magnificient Solomon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Paris Saint-Germain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Saumon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Noa Rivals managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magnificient Solomon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noa Rivals was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilan Therond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes Paris Saint-Germain got a freekick which was hit by Rémy Ranger. If Youri Schott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Youri Schott kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilan Therond. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Codron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Paris Saint-Germain getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pierre-Loup Blanchin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint-Germain's zone, Noa Rivals stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilan Therond came out of the goal and Noa Rivals tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christopher Codron in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Montes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 77 minutes, Sébastian Chaillou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sébastian Chaillou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Christopher Codron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Codron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilan Therond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youri Schott's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Christopher Codron might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Montes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christopher Codron ran back to his position shaking his head. Sébastian Chaillou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Allan Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Moïse Tastet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilan Therond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Magnificient Solomon FC had won after a very even match.
