Fabien Hilt hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Alou Tempier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vaupaliere's Marc-Antoine Boudy didn't even have to move. 9 minutes into the game, Marc-Olivier Rouxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaupaliere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Rain the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vaupaliere fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Jordy Pradel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxime Dazin in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vaupaliere's Fabien Hilt got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vaupaliere's Marc-Antoine Boudy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vaupaliere from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vaupaliere booed when Purple Rain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolphe Gidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakim Rossetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jordy Pradel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolphe Gidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
With 54 minutes on the clock, Marc-Olivier Rouxel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Vaupaliere:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Purple Rain:s goal. Marc-Antoine Boudy came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Rain's Alou Tempier. But to his dismay, Alou Tempier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Vaupaliere's Nathanaël Berland got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alou Tempier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maxime Dazin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jordy Pradel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaupaliere. 74 minutes into the game, Rodolphe Gidon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marc-Antoine Boudy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodolphe Gidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnold Malaise charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolphe Gidon in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc-Antoine Boudy saved Vaupaliere from getting behind. Purple Rain's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
