When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Vincent Signoret put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pacôme Marmin. 0-2 became the score in the 9th minute when Vincent Signoret elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Léonard Helle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Signoret took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pacôme Marmin. Pacôme Marmin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Peltre's Joachim Vigoureux got a free kick in the 20th minute. Vincent Signoret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacôme Marmin having to interfere. Vincent Signoret scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pacôme Marmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Ange Pissot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ange Pissot hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. During the 44th minute of the match Joachim Vigoureux completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joachim Vigoureux a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Vincent Signoret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Poutier FC's Raoul Vigreux managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Norbert Pennequin in the 54 minute of the game. Peltre's Pacôme Marmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Signoret in the 55th minute of play. Pacôme Marmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Signoret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pacôme Marmin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vincent Signoret showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. Vincent Signoret was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Poutier FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 68 minutes into the game, Chris Pecquet threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 70thth minute of the game Vincent Signoret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peltre's Pacôme Marmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pacôme Marmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Signoret in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vincent Signoret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pacôme Marmin was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Vincent Signoret received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Poutier FC's Charlie Rieffel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Pecquet in the 86 minute of the game. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peltre's goalkeeper Pacôme Marmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pacôme Marmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Signoret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alphonse Lourdel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri Fresnel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacôme Marmin having to make a save. When the match was over Poutier FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Peltre throughout the match.
