Valentin Renaudin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Defrou FC's Valentin Renaudin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Auguste Jobard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valentin Renaudin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Valentin Renaudin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Auguste Jobard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Renaudin in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Valentin Renaudin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defrou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Renaudin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Auguste Jobard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Barillet in the 24th minute of play forced Defrou FC's goalkeeper Mario Steinmetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esery's zone, Valentin Renaudin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Auguste Jobard came out of the goal and Valentin Renaudin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charly Zitte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esery's Auguste Jobard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Renaudin in the 32nd minute of play. Defrou FC's Valentin Renaudin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Renaudin in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Auguste Jobard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Renaudin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Auguste Jobard having to interfere. Matheo Kennel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheo Kennel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eden Loison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Renaudin in the 45th minute of play forced Esery's goalkeeper Auguste Jobard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles-Henri Pohu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Auguste Jobard having to make a save.

The wind increased when Valentin Renaudin made the kick off in the second half. Matheo Kennel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Charles-Henri Pohu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Auguste Jobard having to interfere. When Defrou FC's Valentin Renaudin in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Auguste Jobard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Valentin Renaudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Esery's zone, Charly Zitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Auguste Jobard came out of the goal and Charly Zitte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defrou FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
