Barthelemy Brevet came out of the goal and Noureddine Jacquemot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barthelemy Brevet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou in the 28th minute of play. Barthelemy Brevet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Almeida during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dark club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sébastien Pérou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Dark club were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A wasted opportunity for Dark club. 53 minutes into the game, Noureddine Jacquemot lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Barthelemy Brevet. After a rather tough play, Peltre's Davy Guerre got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Noureddine Jacquemot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dark club's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Jacquemot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barthelemy Brevet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Peltre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Christmann to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Jacquemot got free with Barthelemy Brevet in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florent Chevrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Brevet having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Sébastien Pérou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peltre's Barthelemy Brevet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Christian Dubail was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dark club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peltre the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dark club's Christian Dubail got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Jacquemot got free with Barthelemy Brevet in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sébastien Pérou came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dark club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sébastien Pérou couldn't finish the play. Dark club played a much better game than Peltre and deserved their victory. The Peltre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
