Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Félicien Le Parc kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Salomon Legrain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eden Serra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ahmid Cauquil fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint-Louis FC's protests and gave Ahmid Cauquil a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saint-Louis FC's Ahmid Cauquil got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Cyrille Raimbault notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Saint-Louis FC's Marc-Aurèle Charret. Marc-Aurèle Charret was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyrille Raimbault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Merchâteau getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Franck Cabrol hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarod Hautin in the 20th minute of play forced Saint-Louis FC's goalkeeper Marc-Aurèle Charret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Saint-Louis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Raimbault came free, but Marc-Aurèle Charret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Merchâteau's Cyrille Raimbault. But to his dismay, Cyrille Raimbault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Cyrille Raimbault notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Saint-Louis FC's Marc-Aurèle Charret. Marc-Aurèle Charret was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salomon Legrains short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Eden Serra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marc-Aurèle Charret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Bessin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Merchâteau's Jarod Hautin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc-Aurèle Charret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Saint-Louis FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merchâteau were winning 0-4.

In the 52nd minute Salomon Legrain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Serra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eden Serra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmid Cauquil in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Félicien Le Parc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint-Louis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Eden Serra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Ozouf in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Titouan Ozouf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Franck Cabrol came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Merchâteau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franck Cabrol couldn't finish the play. Patrick Merville charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Merville the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eden Serra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toufik Lamboley in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Titouan Ozouf made a precise shot to the right of Eden Serra. Merchâteau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titouan Ozouf in the 94th minute of play forced Merchâteau's goalkeeper Eden Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Patrick Merville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Morgand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eden Serra. Merchâteau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Merchâteau supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merchâteau would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
