Eden Serra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Noé Gautreau. If Franck Cabrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eden Serra made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Thierry Bouyssou sent off a good shot on target. Merchâteau's Eden Serra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Bouyssou in the 40th minute of play. Eden Serra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noé Gautreau in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyrille Raimbault to strike the kick off in the second half. Franck Cabrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Thierry Bouyssou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eden Serra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Hontane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noé Gautreau to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Thierry Bouyssou made a precise shot to the right of Eden Serra. Merchâteau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 69th minute Thierry Bouyssou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Serra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cyrille Raimbault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merchâteau's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyrille Raimbault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Gaszynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Thierry Bouyssou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Serra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Hérard in the 83rd minute of play forced Merchâteau's goalkeeper Eden Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Hontane's Thierry Bouyssou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eden Serra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Bouyssou came free, but Eden Serra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Hontane's Noé Gautreau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eden Serra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hontane reached it. Hontane's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
