Erchin's Auguste Touche got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Hontane's Noé Gautreau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Viricel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Hontane getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Noé Gautreau hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Erchin's goal looked a bit too open when Noé Gautreau came free, but Danny Viricel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Florian Naudon made a precise shot to the right of Danny Viricel. Erchin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Erchin defense, Noé Gautreau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Viricel. The Erchin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Viricel should have stopped the shot. Danny Viricel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thierry Bouyssou went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Erchin's Danny Viricel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Bouyssou in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Noé Gautreau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Viricel was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Thierry Bouyssou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Viricel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noé Gautreau got free with Danny Viricel in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Erchin getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mounir Chauvot hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Auguste Touche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Gaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, one of Hontane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Erchin a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathis Bergerot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hontane's Arkadiusz Gaszynski. 1-5. Arkadiusz Gaszynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Auguste Touche in the 73rd minute of the match. Erchin's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathis Bergerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathis Bergerot hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Johnny Hérard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danny Viricel. Johnny Hérard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-9. Hontane played a much better game than Erchin and deserved their victory. The Erchin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
