Merchâteau's Eden Serra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auguste Touche in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute Cyrille Raimbault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Viricel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Mehdi Huguet put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute, one of Merchâteau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merchâteau. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Erchin. Mathis Bergerot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eden Serra. 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's goal looked a bit too open when Auguste Touche came free, but Eden Serra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Franck Cabrol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merchâteau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franck Cabrol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Thibault Demont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarod Hautin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Viricel came out and tried to block the shot, but Jarod Hautin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. When Franck Cabrol came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Merchâteau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franck Cabrol couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's goal looked a bit too open when Mathis Bergerot came free, but Eden Serra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Mathis Bergerot notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Merchâteau's Eden Serra. Eden Serra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathis Bergerot to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mamadou Le Clainche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's goalkeeper Eden Serra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Auguste Touche. In the 57th minute Franck Cabrol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Viricel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thibault Demont during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Erchin got a freekick which was hit by Thibault Demont. In the 59thth minute of the game Franck Cabrol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erchin's Danny Viricel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Auguste Touche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erchin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Eden Serra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Auguste Touche in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Auguste Touche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Eden Serra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mounir Chauvot hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathis Bergerot in the 81st minute of play forced Merchâteau's goalkeeper Eden Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Bessin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Merchâteau's Eden Serra got control of the ball when Auguste Touche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarod Hautin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's Camille Marchive sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Viricel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franck Cabrol during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Erchin booed when Merchâteau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franck Cabrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Erchin's Mathis Bergerot got a free kick in the 89th minute.
