After a rather tough play, Boussange's Jacques Dehlinger got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Salomon Legrain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Boussange's Mohamed-Ali Rigault nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc-Aurèle Charret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ahmid Cauquil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Abad came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmid Cauquil slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 14th minute. The supporters of Boussange booed when Saint-Louis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmid Cauquil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Jean-Charles Blanc notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Saint-Louis FC's Marc-Aurèle Charret. Marc-Aurèle Charret was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 played minutes Saint-Louis FC got a freekick which was hit by Félicien Le Parc. Mohamed-Ali Rigault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Titouan Ozouf rounded Boussange's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Diego Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félicien Le Parc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed-Ali Rigault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Eliott Kermarrec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boussange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliott Kermarrec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sofiane Tanquerel kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Mohamed-Ali Rigault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-Aurèle Charret having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Boussange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Dehlinger to maneuver through the defense. Salomon Legrain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Diego Abad made a huge save. In the 42nd match minute, Saint-Louis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertrand Hoareau to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, Boussange's Jean-Charles Blanc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marc-Aurèle Charret came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boussange reached it. Titouan Ozouf's late challenge caught a Boussange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titouan Ozouf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Saint-Louis FC's Titouan Ozouf got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Boussange getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mohamed-Ali Rigault hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Félicien Le Parc was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Saint-Louis FC's zone, Mohamed-Ali Rigault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out of the goal and Mohamed-Ali Rigault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc-Aurèle Charret made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mohamed-Ali Rigault sent off a good shot on target. Diego Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titouan Ozouf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Gauthier Labarrère sped through Saint-Louis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc-Aurèle Charret. If Jean-Charles Blanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Raymond Bourigault put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Saint-Louis FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vincent Morgand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boussange's Diego Abad. 4-3. Diego Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Legrain in the 69th minute of the match. Marc-Aurèle Charret was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Mohamed-Ali Rigault capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mohamed-Ali Rigault really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saint-Louis FC's goalkeeper Marc-Aurèle Charret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Saint-Louis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed-Ali Rigault came free, but Marc-Aurèle Charret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saint-Louis FC's Toufik Lamboley got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th match minute, Boussange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliott Kermarrec to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Salomon Legrain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jacques Dehlinger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boussange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out of the goal and Eliott Kermarrec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Boussange's Jacques Dehlinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc-Aurèle Charret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boussange's Diego Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félicien Le Parc in the 98th minute of play. The Saint-Louis FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boussange were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
