Gérard Vasselin came out of the goal and Amaury Dif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amaury Dif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gérard Vasselin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Amaury Dif made a precise shot to the right of Gérard Vasselin. Real Bêtise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Tudor Angheluș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Real Bêtise getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paul-Émile Achard hit a great ball. Valenciennes's Florentin Tapin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Tudor Angheluș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Bêtise's Gérard Vasselin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valenciennes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Cyprien Bergeon scored to the left of an out of position 武扬城, making the score, 1-1. In the 19th match minute, Real Bêtise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armand Delfour to maneuver through the defense. Florentin Tapin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Angheluș to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Angheluș in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Bêtise's goalkeeper Gérard Vasselin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Donnat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 武扬城 having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Real Bêtise's goalkeeper Gérard Vasselin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amaury Dif. Tudor Angheluș in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gérard Vasselin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valenciennes's supporters rose to their feet, but Amaury Dif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gérard Vasselin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Valenciennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bérenger Le Clerc to maneuver through the defense. Amaury Dif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxence Laine during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maxence Laine kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Valenciennes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Bêtise throughout the match.
