Murianette's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amaury Dif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Amaury Dif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mathias Locatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Locatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Angheluș went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Elias Davignon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Fred Dreano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murianette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valenciennes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Murianette's Fred Dreano got a free kick in the 16th minute. Olivier Harter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Valenciennes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luc Delafosse kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Amaury Dif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute Alban Bois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 武扬城 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Murianette got a freekick which was hit by Alban Bois. Valenciennes's 武扬城 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Davignon in the 41st minute of play. 武扬城 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Dreano's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corentin Limouzin was the one to do the kick off. Fred Dreano got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Murianette's Fred Dreano got a free kick in the 56th minute. Valenciennes's Tudor Angheluș got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Tudor Angheluș notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Murianette's Mathias Locatelli. Mathias Locatelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 63 minutes, Florentin Tapin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valenciennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentin Tapin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 武扬城 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alban Bois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Valenciennes booed when Murianette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alban Bois didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Locatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaury Dif, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Valenciennes booed when Murianette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Davignon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Alban Bois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 武扬城 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Valenciennes's Tudor Angheluș made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Locatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Murianette getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alban Bois hit a great ball. Tudor Angheluș struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mathias Locatelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valenciennes. Valenciennes's 武扬城 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corentin Limouzin in the 94th minute of play. Valenciennes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
