Real Bêtise's Gérard Vasselin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cadieu in the 16th minute of play. If Oscar Cadieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Busch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gérard Vasselin having to make a save. In the 25th minute Jordan Busch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gérard Vasselin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nice's Oscar Cadieu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Maxence Laine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gérard Vasselin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Cadieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Lifanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxence Laine in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Oscar Cadieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gérard Vasselin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Nice got a freekick which was hit by Jarod Lobry. Pavel Lifanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyprien Bergeon went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pavel Lifanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprien Bergeon in the 46th minute of the match. Real Bêtise's Maxence Laine got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Oscar Cadieu made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Oscar Cadieu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cyprien Bergeon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Pavel Lifanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Bêtise. Paul-Émile Achard kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jordan Busch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gérard Vasselin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Cadieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gérard Vasselin having to interfere. Pavel Lifanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxence Laine in the 82nd minute of play. Jarod Lobry's late challenge caught a Real Bêtise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarod Lobry helped the player get up and apologised. Jarod Lobry hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gérard Vasselin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Cadieu's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Nice's Jordan Busch in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Bêtise's goalie prevented a goal. Real Bêtise's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
