Spectators: 7790 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Grégory Pille took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Jean-Marc Hayot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Keng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Arequipe defense, Nathanaël Gracia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarod Hatte. The Arequipe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarod Hatte should have stopped the shot. Grégory Pille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarod Hatte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Gage Keng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Weill in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Nancy's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Hayot came free, but Gage Keng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Camille Labbé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gage Keng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Grégory Pille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gage Keng came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Arequipe's Vivien Weill. But to his dismay, Vivien Weill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vivien Weill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Jean-Marc Hayot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gage Keng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camille Labbé succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. 42 minutes into the match, Nancy's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Hayot came free, but Gage Keng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Arequipe's Camille Labbé nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gage Keng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Nancy's Gage Keng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivien Weill in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vivien Weill made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Camille Labbé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gage Keng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Vivien Weill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Nancy getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Salomon Depoilly hit a great ball. After 64 minutes, Grégory Pille mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nancy and the Arequipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nancy's Grégory Pille got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Arequipe's Camille Labbé ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gage Keng. Gage Keng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. In the 71st minute Vivien Weill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Keng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gage Keng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivien Weill in the 72nd minute. Gage Keng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Marc Hayot in the 74th minute of play. Gage Keng came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Arequipe's Vivien Weill. But to his dismay, Vivien Weill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. 80 minutes into the match, Vivien Weill dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gage Keng, 1-10. Gage Keng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Labbé, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vivien Weill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gage Keng made a huge save. When the match was over Arequipe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nancy throughout the match.
