After 38 minutes of play, FC Bayeux's Sidney Bordier made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarod Hatte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Bayeux's Dylan Bonnefon got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Arequipe's Jean-Marc Hayot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gameiro Pitiot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. FC Bayeux's Gameiro Pitiot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bayeux from getting a goal against them. The Arequipe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Bayeux were winning 2-3.

Gameiro Pitiot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivien Weill in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Arequipe's goal looked a bit too open when Théophile Jullien came free, but Jarod Hatte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
