Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michaël Houdayer took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Albert Verbeke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Johnny Forte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pierre-Henri Grognet to make any attempt to save it. If Brendan Lacam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hocine Abgrall kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Johnny Forte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre-Henri Grognet having to make a save. Albert Verbeke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pierre-Henri Grognet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yves Gournay during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PSG Lion getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yves Gournay hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Hocine Abgrall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Barras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Lucinges's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Verbeke came free, but Pierre-Henri Grognet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Peeters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Henri Grognet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Lucinges got a freekick which was hit by Batiste Arias. Valentin Peeters's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pierre-Henri Grognet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amaury Méret scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Henri Grognet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Peeters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pierre-Henri Grognet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Marquez in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucinges's goalkeeper Pierre-Henri Grognet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Valentin Peeters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre-Henri Grognet. Lucinges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Peeters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamel Marquez made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Peeters in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Henri Grognet saved Lucinges from getting behind. The supporters of PSG Lion booed when Lucinges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Rispal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kamel Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSG Lion's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Henri Grognet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Alexandre Clenet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valentin Peeters came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the PSG Lion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Peeters couldn't finish the play. PSG Lion's Valentin Peeters got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre-Henri Grognet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amaury Méret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Terry Lacrouts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Johnny Barras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute Kamel Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Henri Grognet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
