When Arsenal FC's Amine Nagel in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arequipe's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Amine Nagel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amine Nagel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Arequipe getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pierre-Emmanuel Latil hit a great ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arequipe's goalkeeper Jarod Hatte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arsenal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patrice Richier in the 14th minute. Patrice Richier made a great header on Arsenal FC's corner, it was just that Arequipe's Jarod Hatte managed to reach the ball for a save. Arsenal FC's Cyrille Arnault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. Cyrille Arnault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Labbé in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Amine Nagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarod Hatte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vivien Weill fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arequipe's protests and gave Vivien Weill a yellow card for diving instead. Vivien Weill kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Amine Nagel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarod Hatte came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal FC's Amine Nagel. But to his dismay, Amine Nagel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Gilbert Landemaine got a free kick in the 34th minute. Amine Nagel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarod Hatte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Jean-Marc Hayot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cyrille Arnault made a huge save. Vivien Weill hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amine Nagel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gildas Bonvalet charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildas Bonvalet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Gildas Bonvalet got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Camille Labbé came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Arequipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Labbé couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Labbé came free, but Cyrille Arnault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amine Nagel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. Cyrille Arnault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivien Weill in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Gilbert Landemaine got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aziz Pincemin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyrille Arnault. Arsenal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jarod Hatte stood somewhat misplaced when Amine Nagel came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Arsenal FC's Gildas Bonvalet got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Gildas Bonvalet off the ground. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Gildas Bonvalet got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Arequipe's Erwan Nectoux broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arequipe's Jarod Hatte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Arequipe from getting a goal against them. Youri Bénezet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenal FC's Youri Bénezet got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Youri Bénezet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jarod Hatte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyrille Arnault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Weill in the 96th minute of play. Arsenal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
