Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kamel Marquez made the kick off and thus started the match. Johnny Barras made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aymerick Zajac sent off a good shot on target. Kamel Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sofyane Canova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamel Marquez in the 5th minute of play forced AS Saint-Étienne's goalkeeper Sofyane Canova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When PSG Lion's Kamel Marquez in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AS Saint-Étienne's goalie prevented a goal. When Yves Arnal fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Saint-Étienne's protests and gave Yves Arnal a yellow card for diving instead. Yves Arnal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. AS Saint-Étienne's Sofyane Canova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Peeters in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Guillaume Bové was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Saint-Étienne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSG Lion the free kick. Guillaume Bové hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes AS Saint-Étienne got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Charreton. AS Saint-Étienne's Sofyane Canova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Peeters in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AS Saint-Étienne's Sébastian Dabin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sofyane Canova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Guillaume Bové hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albert Verbeke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aymerick Zajac came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Johnny Barras could save by the left post. In the 24th minute Yves Arnal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Barras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valentin Peeters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamel Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sofyane Canova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamel Marquez's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, AS Saint-Étienne's Prosper Galais got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, PSG Lion's goalkeeper Johnny Barras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymerick Zajac. After a defensive mix-up in AS Saint-Étienne's zone, Albert Verbeke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Canova came out of the goal and Albert Verbeke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AS Saint-Étienne getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sébastian Dabin hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Johnny Barras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sébastian Dabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yves Arnal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Barras having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Sébastian Dabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When PSG Lion's Kamel Marquez in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AS Saint-Étienne's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, PSG Lion's Albert Verbeke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofyane Canova made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, AS Saint-Étienne's Aymerick Zajac got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Valentin Peeters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aymerick Zajac in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Barras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Verbeke in the 73rd minute of play forced AS Saint-Étienne's goalkeeper Sofyane Canova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sébastian Dabin scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Barras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kamel Marquez took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Canova. Sofyane Canova dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamel Marquez in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofyane Canova saved AS Saint-Étienne from getting behind. AS Saint-Étienne's Yves Arnal got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillaume Bové scored 2-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Barras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Aymerick Zajac notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of PSG Lion's Johnny Barras. Johnny Barras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Johnny Forte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. AS Saint-Étienne succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though PSG Lion had controlled the match.
