Jean-Marc Hayot kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Vivien Weill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Witwich FC's Jonathan Souche got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jarod Hatte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Leroi in the 17th minute of the match. Alex Damas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erwan Nectoux fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arequipe's protests and gave Erwan Nectoux a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Arequipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwan Nectoux to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Arequipe's Pierre-Emmanuel Latil got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Roland Boidin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Witwich FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Boidin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonathan Souche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaud Brie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camille Labbé went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jarod Hatte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Leroi in the 32nd minute of play. Sammy Leroi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarod Hatte having to make a save. Roland Boidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Witwich FC's Arnaud Brie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivien Weill in the 40th minute of play. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Weill in the 43rd minute of play. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Marc Hayot in the 44th minute of play. When Vivien Weill came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Arequipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivien Weill couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Arnaud Brie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Labbé, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Witwich FC's goalkeeper Arnaud Brie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivien Weill. Wasyl Zieba kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Erwan Nectoux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnaud Brie. Witwich FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56th minute, Jonathan Souche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alex Damas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarod Hatte was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Arequipe's zone, Karl Jullian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarod Hatte came out of the goal and Karl Jullian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alex Damas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karl Jullian came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Witwich FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Jullian couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Witwich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Zieba to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Camille Labbé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaud Brie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Witwich FC's Arnaud Brie got control of the ball when Vivien Weill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaud Brie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Marc Hayot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
