Kamel Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarod Hatte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kamel Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarod Hatte was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 14thth minute of the game Kamel Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arequipe's Jarod Hatte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vivien Weill's late challenge caught a PSG Lion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vivien Weill helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PSG Lion booed when Arequipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivien Weill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Peeters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jarod Hatte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camille Labbé kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Labbé in the 31st minute of play forced PSG Lion's goalkeeper Johnny Barras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, PSG Lion's goalkeeper Johnny Barras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Labbé. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Hayot in the 36th minute of play forced PSG Lion's goalkeeper Johnny Barras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Vivien Weill got a very nice opportunity to score, but Johnny Barras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Valentin Peeters managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSG Lion's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Peeters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarod Hatte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Labbé in the 40th minute of play forced PSG Lion's goalkeeper Johnny Barras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarod Hatte came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by PSG Lion's Kamel Marquez. But to his dismay, Kamel Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jarod Hatte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Marquez in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamel Marquez to make the kick off. Johnny Forte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PSG Lion's Johnny Barras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Labbé in the 58th minute of play. If Valentin Peeters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arequipe's Jarod Hatte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Arequipe from getting a goal against them. Valentin Peeters struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jarod Hatte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSG Lion. Valentin Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. Valentin Peeters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny Barras came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arequipe's Vivien Weill. But to his dismay, Vivien Weill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Johnny Barras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivien Weill in the 93rd minute of the match. Johnny Barras came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Arequipe's Jean-Marc Hayot. But to his dismay, Jean-Marc Hayot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If Kamel Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arequipe support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
