Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vivien Weill started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Vivien Weill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arequipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivien Weill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre-Henri Grognet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Marc Hayot, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Pierre-Henri Grognet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Weill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Jean-Marc Hayot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arequipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot by Justin Jaulin from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Jarod Hatte's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivien Weill in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre-Henri Grognet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre-Henri Grognet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivien Weill, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Lucinges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batiste Arias to maneuver through the defense. Camille Labbé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Henri Grognet having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Pierre-Emmanuel Latil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre-Henri Grognet skillfully saved the ball. After 31 minutes of play Lucinges's Batiste Arias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 31 played minutes Lucinges got a freekick which was hit by Batiste Arias. Camille Labbé scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Henri Grognet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivien Weill in the 35th minute of play forced Lucinges's goalkeeper Pierre-Henri Grognet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lucinges's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Labbé came free, but Pierre-Henri Grognet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Vivien Weill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucinges's Pierre-Henri Grognet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Jean-Marc Hayot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Henri Grognet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Terry Lacrouts made the kick off in the second half. Pierre-Henri Grognet came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arequipe's Camille Labbé. But to his dismay, Camille Labbé quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Théodore Dequidt kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Théodore Dequidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lucinges getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hocine Abgrall hit a great ball. Erwan Nectoux shot from long distance in the 71st minute, but Pierre-Henri Grognet was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Théodore Dequidt in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Henri Grognet saved Lucinges from getting behind. Vivien Weill scored 0-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Henri Grognet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jack Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Pierre-Henri Grognet managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Arequipe's Vivien Weill fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Arequipe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lucinges throughout the match.
