The supporters of Arequipe booed when Didenheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Goupy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles-Henri Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarod Hatte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eugène Chevreuil. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles-Henri Colin to strike the kick off in the second half. Didenheim's Jason Lanoue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Didenheim from getting a goal against them. Camille Ben Arfa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Charles-Henri Colin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jarod Hatte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Didenheim. Didenheim's Charles-Henri Colin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arequipe's Jarod Hatte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Colin in the 74th minute of play. The Didenheim fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Didenheim's Charles-Henri Colin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jarod Hatte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Colin in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Arequipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivien Weill to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arequipe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Didenheim.
