In the 6th minute, Amine Brassart fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vivien Maziere, passed just outside the right post. In the 7th match minute, Strike Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Laloux to maneuver through the defense. Strike Team's Lilian Le Marchand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romuald Firmin in the 8th minute of play. After 12 played minutes FC Germay got a freekick which was hit by Francis Nicaise. 13 minutes into the match, Strike Team's Eliott Pontoizeau broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amine Brassart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivien Maziere having to interfere. Sofyane Soubrier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vivien Maziere came out and tried to block the shot, but Sofyane Soubrier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, FC Germay's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Brassart came free, but Vivien Maziere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amine Brassart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Sofyane Soubrier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivien Maziere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sofyane Soubrier to make the kick off. FC Germay's Vivien Maziere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofyane Soubrier in the 54th minute of play. If Sofyane Soubrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sofyane Soubrier fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strike Team's protests and gave Sofyane Soubrier a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Strike Team got a freekick which was hit by Sofyane Soubrier. Vivien Maziere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amine Brassart in the 66th minute of the match. Romuald Firmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lilian Le Marchand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grégoire Rogeon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romuald Firmin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Lilian Le Marchand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucien Peyron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lilian Le Marchand. Strike Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Germay's Romuald Firmin got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Sofyane Soubrier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivien Maziere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Grégoire Rogeon could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Lilian Le Marchand however easily saved by the left post. Lilian Le Marchand was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Grégoire Rogeon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Grégoire Rogeon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Romuald Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Germay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Strike Team.
