In the 14th match minute, FC Germay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romuald Firmin to maneuver through the defense. FC Germay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joffrey Artus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Drep's Joffrey Artus to fire away a dangerous shot which Vivien Maziere despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Drep's Yves Sévestre in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Germay's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Germay's zone, Yves Sévestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivien Maziere came out of the goal and Yves Sévestre tried to chip the ball over his head. But to his dismay, Fernand Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, FC Germay's goalkeeper Vivien Maziere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joffrey Artus. In the 39thth minute of the game Yves Sévestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Germay's Vivien Maziere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes FC Germay got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Pillet.
In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Germay's goalkeeper Vivien Maziere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Germay defense, Donatien Riguet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivien Maziere. The FC Germay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Maziere should have stopped the shot. FC Germay's Vivien Maziere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pierre Magnet in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Germay's Danny Badel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Yves Sévestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vivien Maziere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Batiste Lebeau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joffrey Artus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drep walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
