Adil Drieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Germay's Vivien Maziere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Olivier Berenguer in the 7th minute of play. Vivien Maziere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adil Drieu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Pierre-Olivier Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vivien Maziere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vivien Maziere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymerick Anquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Grégoire Rogeon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Germay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grégoire Rogeon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Massy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romuald Firmin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Germay defense, Daryl Pousset kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivien Maziere. The FC Germay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Maziere should have stopped the shot. Aymerick Anquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivien Maziere having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Dimitri Fraisse put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vivien Maziere. Vivien Maziere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Drieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The Mennecy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Massy should have stopped the shot. Vivien Maziere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymerick Anquez in the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Mennecy were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre-Olivier Berenguer made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daryl Pousset got free with Vivien Maziere in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC Germay defense, Aymerick Anquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivien Maziere. The FC Germay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Maziere should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Germay's zone, Daryl Pousset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivien Maziere came out of the goal and Daryl Pousset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daryl Pousset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, FC Germay's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Olivier Berenguer came free, but Vivien Maziere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Aymerick Anquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mennecy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aymerick Anquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, FC Germay's goalkeeper Vivien Maziere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adil Drieu. Francis Nicaise charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francis Nicaise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mennecy booed when FC Germay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Nicaise didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Perroux in the 80th minute of play forced FC Germay's goalkeeper Vivien Maziere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play FC Germay's Francis Nicaise was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mennecy were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after FC Germay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre-Olivier Berenguer took the corner. If Pierre-Olivier Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Dimitri Fraisse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mennecy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Fraisse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes FC Germay got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Pillet. Daryl Pousset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivien Maziere having to interfere. Constantin Perroux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Mennecy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Germay throughout the match.
