Vivien Maziere came out of the goal and Julien Belli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Eleuterio Sidoro made a precise shot to the right of Vivien Maziere. FC Germay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Eleuterio Sidoro sped through FC Germay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vivien Maziere. In the 44th match minute, Modane Gare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Roumier to maneuver through the defense. Vivien Maziere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwan Adoniso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romuald Firmin to make the kick off. Modane Gare FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Germay the free kick. In the 84th minute, Lucas Bobet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Modane Gare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Pillet came free, but Jarod Conan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivien Maziere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwan Adoniso in the 87th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Sidoro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vivien Maziere. Eleuterio Sidoro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Modane Gare FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
