Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Hugo Patard made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Libertad Sarmiento in the 5th minute of play forced Salome's goalkeeper John Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaël Janssens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Salome's Amaury Thiébault threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Patard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Salome booed when Real Sociedad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédéric Pantel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Libertad Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Becker. Salome's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Libertad Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Brice Fayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaury Thiébault having to interfere. Amaury Thiébault made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Germain Clisson sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goalkeeper Amaury Thiébault had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germain Clisson. 26 minutes into the match Germain Clisson climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Amaury Thiébault. John Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libertad Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Sociedad's Edmond Antigny got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Germain Clisson made a precise shot to the right of Amaury Thiébault. Real Sociedad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Gaël Janssens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Real Sociedad's Libertad Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Becker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 66th minute, Germain Clisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Libertad Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amaury Thiébault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Patard in the 71st minute of the match. When Libertad Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Real Sociedad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Libertad Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Edmond Antigny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Brice Fayol came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Salome fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brice Fayol couldn't finish the play. Edmond Antigny took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Becker. John Becker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. John Becker came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Sociedad's Libertad Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Libertad Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Amaury Thiébault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Patard in the 97th minute of the match. Real Sociedad's Edmond Antigny got his second yellow card of the match in the 98th minute. The referee ordered Edmond Antigny off the ground. Edmond Antigny hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Real Sociedad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
