Brian Morvant started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Patard in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles-Emmanuel Guède saved Saulzet from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Saulzet's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Patard came free, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salome booed when Saulzet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Morvant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Salome's Germain Clisson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Charles-Emmanuel Guède yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Salome's Hugo Patard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles-Emmanuel Guède. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Daniel Ducasse the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salome protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Daniel Ducasse had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salome fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Saulzet a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brian Morvant, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Salome's John Becker. 2-1. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Hugo Patard sped through Saulzet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles-Emmanuel Guède. The supporters of Saulzet booed when Salome was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Fayol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Hugo Patard made a precise shot to the right of Charles-Emmanuel Guède. In the 43rd minute, one of Saulzet:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saulzet.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Patard made a kick off. Salome's Jean-Marc Sirieix suffered a sore thigh after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Morgan Jacquel's late challenge caught a Salome's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morgan Jacquel helped the player get up and apologised. Morgan Jacquel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Germain Clisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes Saulzet's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Coco who took care of the corner kick. Salome's Valentin Coco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Saulzet's goal looked a bit too open when Germain Clisson came free, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Mike Bigot notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Saulzet's Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute Mike Bigot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Valentin Coco made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Saulzet's Charles-Emmanuel Guède tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 minutes, Germain Clisson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salome and the Saulzet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salome's Germain Clisson got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Salome's Brice Fayol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles-Emmanuel Guède made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. The supporters of Salome booed when Saulzet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Jacquel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Coco, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Salome's Hugo Patard made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Saulzet defense, Germain Clisson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles-Emmanuel Guède. The Saulzet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles-Emmanuel Guède should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Hugo Patard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salome fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. There was no doubt that Salome were the better team. Salome's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
