Charles-Emmanuel Guède was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles-Emmanuel Guède made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libertad Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Libertad Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Saulzet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Libertad Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmond Antigny was the one to do the kick off. Charles-Emmanuel Guède didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmond Antigny went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute, Gaël Janssens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Sociedad booed when Saulzet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Morvant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles-Emmanuel Guède took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaël Janssens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Libertad Sarmiento notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Saulzet's Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaël Janssens took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles-Emmanuel Guède.
