Salome's Hugo Patard got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bouzigues defense, Hugo Patard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franck Delarche. The Bouzigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franck Delarche should have stopped the shot. When Léo Panchout came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bouzigues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Panchout couldn't finish the play. Franck Delarche made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Germain Clisson sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Bouzigues's goalkeeper Franck Delarche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brice Fayol. The crowd rose to their feet as Morgan Vittoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franck Delarche. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Morgan Vittoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Delarche having to interfere. Hugo Patard scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franck Delarche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Becker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Robart's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Patard in the 39th minute of play forced Bouzigues's goalkeeper Franck Delarche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franck Delarche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Patard, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brice Fayol got free with Franck Delarche in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Patard was the one to do the kick off. Morgan Vittoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Franck Delarche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 52 minutes, Rémi Gobillot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bouzigues and the Salome players grew even worse after the yellow card. 54 minutes into the match, Bouzigues's goal looked a bit too open when Germain Clisson came free, but Franck Delarche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franck Delarche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brice Fayol went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th match minute, Bouzigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolphe Toulet to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Coco struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Franck Delarche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salome. When the referee ended the match the Salome players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
