Spectators: 6835 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ali Defosse took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Carl Renauld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cagny's Christophe Houot got a free kick in the 7th minute. Michel Capitaine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Étienne Tabary's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Neudorf's Carl Renauld in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cagny's goalie prevented a goal. Étienne Tabary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Capitaine having to interfere. Carl Renauld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cagny's Michel Capitaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Renauld in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Neudorf's goalkeeper Djibril Favre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serge Reine. Étienne Tabary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cagny's zone, Étienne Tabary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Capitaine came out of the goal and Étienne Tabary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Gall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Michel Capitaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Renauld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Capitaine having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Étienne Tabary got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carl Renauld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Michel Capitaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Étienne Tabary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Étienne Tabary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Renauld to make the kick off. Étienne Tabary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Michel Capitaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djibril Favre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Defosse, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Carl Renauld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Renauld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Michel Capitaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Capitaine made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Étienne Tabary sent off a good shot on target. Dove Aucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd play minute Étienne Tabary came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michel Capitaine. 0-1. Michel Capitaine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Gall in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabri Tricoire during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Neudorf getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sabri Tricoire hit a great ball. Ali Defosse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Djibril Favre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Neudorf's Abraham Biret got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Étienne Tabary managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neudorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Étienne Tabary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Capitaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carl Renauld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Neudorf left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cagny.
