Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quentin Viau kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cagny's zone, Quentin Viau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Capitaine came out of the goal and Quentin Viau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Michel Testud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Cagny's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolas Legoux fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Marinel's Quentin Viau in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cagny's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Marinel's Quentin Viau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Capitaine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Nicolas Legoux dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michel Capitaine, 1-1. Quentin Viau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 played minutes Marinel got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Legoux. Sidney Sylla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cagny's zone, Nathanaël Rouard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Capitaine came out of the goal and Nathanaël Rouard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Ali Defosse made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cagny's Ali Defosse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stéphane Weibel. Stéphane Weibel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 56 minutes into the match, Marinel's Nicolas Legoux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Capitaine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Marinel's Quentin Viau in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cagny's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Christophe Houot took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Stéphane Weibel to make any attempt to save it. When Benjamin Caplain fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marinel's protests and gave Benjamin Caplain a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Marinel got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Caplain. Cagny's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 72nd minute of the game, when Dove Aucher after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Marinel's goal. Dove Aucher was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 75th minute Quentin Viau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Capitaine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Viau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Capitaine having to interfere. Serge Reine scored 1-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stéphane Weibel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nicolas Legoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Viau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Capitaine having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Émilien Savoie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marinel's supporters rose to their feet, but Émilien Savoie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Capitaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daryl Santini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Legoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Marinel lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
