In the 5th minute of the match, Samir Sandrin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stéphane Weibel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as USTA Noëllet's Samir Sandrin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stéphane Weibel. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 11 played minutes, Marinel's Nathanaël Rouard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Gratien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marinel reached it. Quentin Viau struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Carlos Gratien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marinel. After a defensive mix-up in USTA Noëllet's zone, Émilien Savoie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Gratien came out of the goal and Émilien Savoie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Émilien Savoie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Gratien having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Djamel Tempier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordan Gazel, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Christopher Lamboley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USTA Noëllet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marinel the free kick. After 34 played minutes USTA Noëllet got a freekick which was hit by Émeric Bauche. 38 minutes into the match, Marinel's goalkeeper Stéphane Weibel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Émeric Bauche. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Pomarede got free with Stéphane Weibel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tristan Pomarede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Stéphane Weibel made a huge save. Émilien Savoie hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Jordan Gazel fired a really elegant long shot, but Stéphane Weibel threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samir Sandrin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Émeric Bauche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tristan Pomarede in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stéphane Weibel saved Marinel from getting behind. Pierrick Bastide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Marinel's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Sandrin came free, but Stéphane Weibel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stéphane Weibel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émeric Bauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierrick Bastide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Carlos Gratien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Legoux in the 69th minute of play forced USTA Noëllet's goalkeeper Carlos Gratien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stéphane Weibel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Pomarede in the 70th minute of play. Émilien Savoie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gratien having to interfere. Christian Pedrono hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Stéphane Weibel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Sandrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Christian Pedrono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Weibel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Émilien Savoie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marinel's Stéphane Weibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Pomarede in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Marinel getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Michel Testud hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Christian Pedrono made a precise shot to the right of Stéphane Weibel. Marinel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 89 minutes into the match, Samir Sandrin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Marinel's Stéphane Weibel. Stéphane Weibel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Michel Testud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USTA Noëllet's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
