After 2 minutes, Morgan Jacquel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saulzet and the Neudorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brian Morvant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djibril Favre having to interfere. Djibril Favre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Jacquel in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Neudorf's Thibaut Floury got a free kick in the 20th minute. Charles-Emmanuel Guède showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Renauld in the 26th minute of the match. Diego Gall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Morgan Jacquel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djibril Favre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Étienne Tabary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djibril Favre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Morvant's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charles-Emmanuel Guède came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Neudorf's Carl Renauld. But to his dismay, Carl Renauld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Neudorf were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saulzet for a fine match.
