Jean-Marc Néron's late challenge caught a Marinel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Jean-Marc Néron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 11 minutes had been played. After 12 played minutes Chapelles got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marc Néron. If Quentin Viau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chapelles's Ryan Baheux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chapelles from getting a goal against them. When Joël Nicolau came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Chapelles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joël Nicolau couldn't finish the play. Ryan Baheux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Testud in the 23rd minute. If Jean-Charles Castille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Émilien Savoie notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chapelles's Ryan Baheux. Ryan Baheux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Viau in the 34th minute of play forced Chapelles's goalkeeper Ryan Baheux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joël Nicolau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Charles Castille in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stéphane Weibel saved Marinel from getting behind. Ryan Baheux made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Quentin Viau sent off a good shot on target.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Charles Castille to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Marinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émilien Savoie to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chapelles's Joël Nicolau got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alexis Roulland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Jean-Charles Castille reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stéphane Weibel. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 78th minute Quentin Viau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Baheux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Jean-Charles Castille cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Stéphane Weibel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexis Roulland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Weibel having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jimmy Amiot took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Stéphane Weibel to make any attempt to save it. Jean-Charles Castille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexis Roulland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Charles Castille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Stéphane Weibel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Joël Nicolau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Joël Nicolau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stéphane Weibel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chapelles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
