In the 3rd minute, Tristan Pomarede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 4 minutes, Morgan Jacquel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saulzet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Jacquel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Pedrono hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Saulzet booed when USTA Noëllet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Gazel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles-Emmanuel Guède showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Sandrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 22 minutes, Brian Morvant made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. USTA Noëllet's Carlos Gratien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Brian Morvant came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Saulzet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Morvant couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Saulzet's Allan Martino got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Morvant in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Gratien saved USTA Noëllet from getting behind. Morgan Jacquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, USTA Noëllet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Pedrono to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Morvant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charles-Emmanuel Guède made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Sandrin in the 53rd minute of play. Charles-Emmanuel Guède took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Sandrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Jacquel got free with Carlos Gratien in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantin Schwartzs short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Carlos Gratien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Brian Morvant took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Carlos Gratien to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, Samir Sandrin made a precise shot to the right of Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Saulzet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Charles-Emmanuel Guède took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Pedrono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the USTA Noëllet defense, Brian Morvant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Gratien. The USTA Noëllet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Gratien should have stopped the shot. Saulzet's Brian Morvant got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantin Schwartz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Gratien. That made the score 2-4 in the 80 minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Saulzet's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Pomarede came free, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tristan Pomarede got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Saulzet's Brian Morvant got a free kick in the 90th minute. Charles-Emmanuel Guède made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Sandrin in the 93rd minute of play. Brian Morvant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gratien having to interfere. The Saulzet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
