Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc-Antoine Bonne in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Capitaine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Capitaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Badier, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Michel Capitaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc-Antoine Bonne in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Cagny's zone, Marc-Antoine Bonne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Capitaine came out of the goal and Marc-Antoine Bonne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Serge Reine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morgan Audoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The supporters of Massy booed when Cagny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nolan Née didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc-Antoine Bonnes short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Michel Capitaine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Massy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
