Spectators: 8090 (Terracing: 6069, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 161) Edmond Antigny started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Igor Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Antigny, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Libertad Sarmiento sped through Ouich Lorraine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Igor Godoy. 15 minutes into the match, Libertad Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Godoy. Ouich Lorraine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Libertad Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Igor Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmond Antigny in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Real Sociedad got a corner. Ouich Lorraine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul-Émile Berthod ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Ouich Lorraine's goal looked a bit too open when Libertad Sarmiento came free, but Igor Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libertad Sarmiento in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Ouich Lorraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Jauneau to maneuver through the defense. Igor Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Antigny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Edmond Antigny in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 36 minutes into the match, Libertad Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ouich Lorraine's Igor Godoy. Igor Godoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Real Sociedad were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Barthe made a kick off. Igor Godoy came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Sociedad's Edmond Antigny. But to his dismay, Edmond Antigny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmond Antigny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Godoy. That made the score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. With 63 minutes on the clock, Evaristo Pirmin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute, Libertad Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Igor Godoy. Ouich Lorraine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After 74 played minutes Real Sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Carlo. In the 77th match minute, Real Sociedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Antigny to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Jauneau hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Igor Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Libertad Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Libertad Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Igor Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Libertad Sarmiento in the 94th minute of the match. Igor Godoy came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Sociedad's Libertad Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Libertad Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. The Real Sociedad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Sociedad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
