In the 4thth minute of the game Louis Robart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cagny's Michel Capitaine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bouzigues's Léo Panchout slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Capitaine. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Louis Robart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouzigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Robart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentin Provost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Capitaine having to interfere. With splendid footwork Louis Robart arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 12th minute. Franck Delarche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Defosse, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ali Defosse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cagny's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Defosse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franck Delarche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes, Florentin Provost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bouzigues and the Cagny players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bouzigues getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Florentin Provost hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Barthélémy Guilloux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Florentin Provost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Michel Capitaine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cagny's goalkeeper Michel Capitaine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Louis Robart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Léo Panchout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouzigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Panchout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Capitaine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Robart's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louis Robart to make the kick off. Christophe Houot kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Louis Robart put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Capitaine. 58 minutes into the match, Louis Robart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Capitaine. Cagny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louis Robart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Louis Robart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Bouzigues's Matthieu Ly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Capitaine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cagny defense, Louis Robart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Capitaine. The Cagny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Capitaine should have stopped the shot. Bouzigues's Louis Robart got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Léo Panchout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cagny's Barthélémy Guilloux got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bouzigues's Louis Robart couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cagny. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Florentin Provost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bouzigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentin Provost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Capitaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Ali Defosse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Delarche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard, long distance shot from Matthieu Ly flew over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bouzigues had played much better football throughout.
