An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymerick Barlier in the 25th minute of play forced RvdU 1949 FC's goalkeeper Prosper Gillard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolfisheim's Nelson Murzeau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Wolfisheim from getting a goal against them. After 53 played minutes RvdU 1949 FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Vasselin. After having played for 58 minutes, Ryan Giry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RvdU 1949 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Giry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th play minute Aymerick Barlier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prosper Gillard. 4-1. In the 63rd minute, Ryan Giry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Murzeau was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in RvdU 1949 FC's zone, Aymerick Barlier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Gillard came out of the goal and Aymerick Barlier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Gartzea Ungia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Murzeau was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Nelson Murzeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Bonin in the 76th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, RvdU 1949 FC's Igor Pucheu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Murzeau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RvdU 1949 FC fully deserved thier win.
