Everardo Silbestre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gartzea Ungia hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Pucheu came free, but Everardo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mourad Bonin in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Ulysse Sonnet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prosper Gillard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, RvdU 1949 FC's Gartzea Ungia got a free kick in the 26th minute. Prosper Gillard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysse Sonnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulysse Sonnet to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Mourad Bonin could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Everardo Silbestre however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of RvdU 1949 FC booed when Durotar Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Brousse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Silbestre came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by RvdU 1949 FC's Ryan Giry. But to his dismay, Ryan Giry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of RvdU 1949 FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Durotar Football Club:s goal. Durotar Football Club's Everardo Silbestre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save Durotar Football Club from getting a goal against them. The RvdU 1949 FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
