After 31 played minutes FC ROWEX got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Hingant. In the 33rd match minute, Olympique de Mornas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghislain Masselot to maneuver through the defense. Pierre-Loup Duperron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Terry Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierre-Emmanuel Bruyas to make the kick off. Hippolyte Risse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre-Loup Duperron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Olympique de Mornas got a freekick which was hit by Justin Duhaut. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Marc Cornec during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, FC ROWEX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Marc Cornec to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Calvin Avice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of FC ROWEX booed when Olympique de Mornas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basile Hivert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghislain Masselot hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hippolyte Risse in the 76th minute of play forced Olympique de Mornas's goalkeeper Terry Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match FC ROWEX got a corner. Olympique de Mornas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hippolyte Risse ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 97th minute, Yves Bouchot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although FC ROWEX had been in control for most of the match, Olympique de Mornas still came away with the win.
