Carl Ernoult kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Guy Daurat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gruchy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Daurat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Charles Vaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Barnabé Coquillat made a huge save. Barnabé Coquillat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Hakim Schell put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC ROWEX fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! FC ROWEX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Jean-Charles Vaux scored to the left of an out of position Barnabé Coquillat, making the score, 2-0. Barnabé Coquillat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sammy Havard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Loup Duperron, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kévin Dubosq charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kévin Dubosq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sammy Havard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Loup Duperron in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th of the match, Geoffroy Cornil tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Barnabé Coquillat got in the way and made a wonderful save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calvin Avice to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Calvin Avice kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sammy Havard. That made the score 2-1 in the 51 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre-Loup Duperron got free with Sammy Havard in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geoffroy Cornil struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Barnabé Coquillat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gruchy. Pierre-Loup Duperron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sammy Havard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pierre-Loup Duperron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathis Rollier kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Geoffroy Cornil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barnabé Coquillat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil in the 90th minute of play. FC ROWEX's Barnabé Coquillat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Charles Vaux in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of FC ROWEX booed when Gruchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffroy Cornil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Loup Duperron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Gruchy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
